I searched the forum and couldn't find a specific answer to my question, so I apologize if I missed it. Basically, I am uploading my entire music library onto a website, so that my family/friends can share my music, and to serve as an electronic (and mobile) backup. However, I do not feel like taking every one of my cds, converting it to mp3, and then uploading them. Sounds painful. I know I have this folder on my computer called "itunes music", which basically contains all of my cds (since I have them all on my ipod). Not all of my family/friends have ipods, and I would like to make the format of my files versatile (so, I'm guessing mp3 is perhaps the most versatile, while still being of a manageable size, unlike wma).
Anyone have any idea of the best way to do this? Again, I apologize if this is a dumb question, but I would like to get some expert advice before wasting countless hours embarking on the different options I have found.
