So this morning I plugged my iPod in to load some new songs, and it tells me there's a software update available. So I download and install it, my iPod restarts and reloads, then I drag over a bunch of new files. Undock my iPod, get in the car, turn it on for some tunes, then all of a sudden I can't get to anything. All the menus are there and everything, but they're empty just like when it was new. The kicker is: the files didn't get erased, because when I docked it at home after finding this out, all the files were there and I could access them through iTunes.
Any way to get rid of the software update in the hopes that I can get my tunes back? I haven't tried resetting or erasing anything yet; and as noted above, the stuff I added after the software update is NOT available to listen to.
Anyone having similar issues?
