Well, for someone who fell in love with Ubuntu/linux, I've now become totally frustrated with it.

It's decide to fuck with my head. It has lost my cd drive, totally.
I'm getting "mount: special device/dev/scd0 does not exist".

And after googling it, it appears one needs to be an expert in code to fucking fix the thing.

Fuck that shit. I don't care if it's a rip off, I'm switching back to windows. How I long for system restore.

My frustration is with disc formats and it is MS's fault. NTFS is not rock solid on linux, and ext3 is not rock solid on windows. So what to do?

Well, I didn't revert to windows. Fuck those cunts! I decided to open the casing up and, lo and behold, there was a tear in the connector cable. So I snatched another one from and old spare I have and replaced the torn one and it's working fine now.

By the way, I'm sure you people don't need to know this, but, I've found THIS site invaluable over the last couple of days.

Nah. I've been trying different cd/dvd drives and I must have gotten a bit rough with it.

Switched my two Ubuntu machines to Mint. Love it. Thinking of ditching Windows all together, now that I have zero time to game.

It's a free, open-source and super light-weight operating system. It's also an extremely stable OS, which is why it's the most popular OS for servers. I recommend it to anyone that doesn't game.

% of the etymology of the word "circular" (when used to mean a paper advertisement) that makes sense, intuitively: 0.

So why not call it a circulating flyer? Or better yet, a flyer?

Because it's a god damned circular.
