It just keeps making a beeping sound. I think that means the fan went out.

If I were to buy a new one, I would want to spend $500-600. Any suggestions? I'm talking desktop or laptop.

What kind of computer do you have and what are the beeps? If you know your BIOS version that will also help. You can look up your BIOS brand along with "Beep code" and that can help tell you what the beep means. If you really think it's the fan, that's easy to fix, instead of getting a whole new system.
