so now when im burnin cds on nero..it will get past the initializing phase, right about to write the tracks..and then my computer just restarts

every now and then i get one to burn without it doin that, but still..why?? im wonderin if its the program or the discs (although the first 25/50 burnt fine)..

maybe if i get an update of nero it will work fine again??

any suggestions??

ok so i just put in a data disc to put somethin on my hard drive and it restarted

it must have somethin to do with the discs and not nero

Nero is driving me nuts right now too. I just got a new Vista box, and at first I tried to load in my old version of Nero 7, but apparently there are compatibility issues, so that fucked things up good. I got teh Nero cleaner tool and uninstalled it, then downloaded Nero 8, which is supposed to work for Vista. I haven't even tried to hack the fucking thing (yet) and I can't even get the demo version to fully install. It always seems to fail right at the very end of the process. I've tried it 3 times now, and I was up until 2:30 last night working on this shit.

Any ideas?
