I was thinking of getting an external hard drive. There's a lot of MyBooks on e-bay for cheap. What's the deal?

Can't speak for everyone else. My MyBook has issues and it was just out of warranty.

i think i have a mybook and have had no problems with it. i just try to plug it in every few weeks and reload all my music, documents, etc onto it so they're all backed up.
