So my ipod got wet and fucked up so I sent it to Apple and they mailed me a new one. I cannot even get the new one to turn on. When I hook it to the USB cable it says "very low battery, please wait" and that's all it does. How do I get this fucker to work?!

Have you tried plugging it into an electrical outlet?

I'm going to assume you haven't.

Plug it into the wall outlet, wait a couple minutes until you have enough juice to restart, restart, and it should be fine.

That's the thing...I left it hooked up to the USB cable for HOURS...and even overnight. It just keeps saying, "Very low battery, please wait".

And Sunny, I have no way to plug it into a wall outlet.

I'm just gonna have to fucking call Apple. Dammit.

i don't think you get it -- it needs to be plugged into the wall. the usb charge won't do anything.

do you have Itunes installed? your computer might not recognize the Ipod and thus not charge it without Itunes.
