I'm looking for a program that will let me crossfade tracks so I can make some live compilations. I've heard that Nero can do it, but not my version (7.0 Essential). Also, it seems that you have little chance to preview or control the crossfades in the version of Nero that have the option available.

The best program I've seen for this is Roxio's Easy CD/DVD Creator. But, recent versions of Easy Media Creator changed the crossfade option and now its CRAP. Not to mention all of the compatibility and installation issues...

So, my question is, what burning programs do you use to make your live compilations? I'm looking for something simple like Easy CD/DVD Creator 6 (which doesn't work on my XP computer; some kind of Windows MCI driver error).

Thanks,
Mike

Try Acoustica http://www.acoustica.com/mp3-cd-burner/

It's what I use, but I haven't used the crossfade option yet, so I can't vouch for how easy/hard it is to use. The program isn't free but you do get a trial period.
