I recently bought a digital coax cable to go from my receiver to pc. Only catch was, i had to get an rca to headphone adapter to go into the Creative Audigy 2 ZS soundcard because Creative is gay and makes there cards with their speakers in mind. Anyways, I have read up on this and I know I lose the 5.1 or whatever, obviously, but I only have two floor speakers so that's fine. Where am I going to notice the differences? I use FLAC and stuff so it's not all mp3. So far it sounds amazing. It seems a lot crisper and precise. It was basically the same price as rigging up some rca plugs (a little more for digital).

It sounds like a virtual third channel in the center. It's so neat.
