Ok, I've got an old, unreliable HP CD-RW burner and a new Pioneer DVD-RW burner.
I want to burn some CD-Rs with no gaps. Disc-at-once or whatever its called. Of the GH compilation for what it's worth.
I have burnt some quick compilation CDs using the DVD burner before in the past with Real Player/iTunes in the past but haven't worried about gaps etc. and it works fine.
For these discs though I thought I would use Nero (what I use for buring DVDs, because its got more settings etc) and its telling me I need a 2-3 second gap. I've got it set on Disc-at-once mode and have told it not to put any gaps in (0 sec pause).
Am I using the wrong program? Should I just use iTunes or another program? Or do you need to use a CD-RW burner to burn CD-Rs with no gaps?? I've got no idea as I've never had with problem until now. I can't tell if the other CDs I burnt have a natural fade out/pause or one that was added during buring.
Please help

why not just use a 1 second gap? im not really familiar with setting gaps or what not, when i burn a cd i use Iomega Hotburn, and i can get 19-21 songs on per
if you say the one is unreliable, then you just answered your own question

Basically I can't have any gaps, I need the whole thing to flow like one big track/concert. Any gap, any length wouldn't work.
What I need to know is if its possible to burn a cd with no gaps using a DVD burner because Nero is telling me it isn't. And if it isn't then I'll have to use the unreliable one even if it takes twice as many discs to complete it.
So... anyone,
Is it possible to burn a CD with no gaps using a DVD burner??
If so, what program should I use??
Cheers

Have you ever used Nero before? Not being a jerk.
One of the weird things about Nero is that it requires a two second gap for the first track only, but then you can put zero gaps for all the other tracks. Try that.
If that's not the issue, I have no clue.
