Does anyone out there use Safari and have problems with this board? It seems that Safari is having problems with the small flash animations on avatars and the burning icons for popular topics. It slows to a crawl and hogs all my cpu. Firefox has no problems, I just wanna know what's up with Safari.

Those aren't flash animations, those are your everyday, normal gifs. Animated gifs.

I don't have problems with this site with Safari, except that you can't just highlight a url and click the BBcode tabs to put them on. I have to do it manually, or it just sticks them at the end of the post. Other than that, this site works OK. The main problem I run into with Safari is that it doesn't seem to like frames.

Well, since no one else is having this problem, I figured out it's related to PithHelmet, the ad-blocking software I had installed. I'll have to check to see if there is an upgraded version that fixes this problem.
Now my only problem with Safari is that it's slow to load sites like eBay. Turning off JavaScript in the preferences speeds things back up, but I have to go back and turn it on again for sites that need JavaScript.
If I could find some extensions for Firefox that would add a snap-back button, as well as some of the keyboard shortcuts that Safari has, I would switch over completely.
