I have an internet shortcut on my desktop to go play a game at MSN, which appears to require (or to at least greatly simplify) IE be used, but I use Firefox as my default browser. I thought you could just open the "Properties" of that shortcut icon and edit it to open in IE, but I can't seem to see where to do it. I think I've been through every option.
Anyone know if this can be done?
Thanks.

Make a shortcut to Internet Explorer (C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe probably), open properties of the shortcut and add the url you want to visit after the target that's currently there, e.g. "C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe" http://www.google.com.

or bookmark the page in IE, then drag the bookmark to the desktop.

That doesn't work. It will open the bookmark in the default browser.
