What does this tag do?

The description is pretty weak.

It makes a big white box when I use it.

isnt an FLV a type of video file?

Are we talkin about the same thing here?
If you need to watch an FLV video...you have to get a an FLV player or get a video converter program to turn it into avi or wmv.

FLV is the video format that youtube uses, for example.

So I take it you can put the address of an .flv file hosted on the web in the FLV tag and it will display the video.

FLV is Flash video. As mentioned before, it's the format in which YouTube videos are streamed. If you upload a video to Photobucket, it converts it to FLV. That being said, I have no idea what you're supposed to put in the [FLV] tag to get a video to work.

My confusion stemmed from the fact that when you mouse over the "FLV" button it says, "Tip: Syles can be applied quickly to selected text."
