I don't have all of the software for certain programs on my pc...or there are other programs that I really don't want to hunt around for again. Can I burn the program folder do a blank DVD straight from my program files. Pop it in after I reformat, drag and reinstall?

I'm quite sure this solution will not work, 3crooked :heartbeat: . Windows writes a lot of stuff in the registry so you will have only the empty nutshell by doing what you are thinking.
For me the best way to have something working good after reformatting is to find and burn on a dvd all the stuff you need and make a clean install from scratch of all the softwares you need.
