they're for sure in .mp3

they're tagged and have no viruses or anything like that

they just won't load in at all

makes no sense

i've had that problem before. where did you get them? only time i've had this problem is if i've downloaded something off a P2P network. never happened with anything i legitimately got or ripped myself.

in the cases it happened, i just downloaded a new/different file of the same song.
