Programs open just fine - Firefox, Photoshop, Google Earth ...

But if I try to explore any kind of folder on my desktop, open the Control Canel, open the "Computer" shortcut, etc (anything that requires windows explorer) - the window opens completely blank, with some weird shit happening:

the "status bar" at the top of the screen is empty; typing anything into this field or the "search" field and hitting enter does nothing.

The icon at the far right of the status bar that shows either a little "refesh" icon, or a red X to stop loading shows the red X right away. If you click the red X to stop the window from loading, it closes.

Also, I've just noticed that my recycle bin is missing too.

Oh, and the other profiles in Vista have none of these issues. WTF?

Get a mac.

I was kinda hoping for a solution that would cost lest than $1500.
