I find it fine for everything except facebook.
Download the Opera browser. It's a bit slower, but it runs every website I've tried, and I have a 3 year-old bbery.

It would also be interesting to download some of my pictures from the phone onto the pc. See what the quality's like. I've been told this one's better for photos.

I have a curve, just got it for Xmas. I have Sprint, so some of these MAY be different. But my friend Stef is on ATT and has the Bold, and hers is all the same. I love this damn thing.
Menu - the padlock icon is the keyboard lock.
I set mine so that the button on the right locks the keys for me. Menu - Options (the wrench) - Screen/Keyboard - Right side Convenience key opens- keyboard lock. So much easier than going through the menu whenever I want to change it.
You can move the icons around on the menu, the first 5 will be the ones on your screen all the time.
Email the mp3 to yourself and it saves to the music section to your media folder. You can set it as a ring tone from there. To assign it to a profile, select the speaker in the menu - Advanced - select profile - phone - then click on the tone, browse, and select it from the media folder.
My camera was REALLY dark, until I set the white balance to 'night' in the options. That helped.

I've got an 8350i, and I really like it. I've found the easiest way to get photos/music/ringtones on and off of it is to enable mass storage mode. Go to Options | Memory and then Make sure that Mass Storage Mode Support is On and that "Auto Enable Mass Storage Mode When Connected" is set to either On or Prompt. Now all you have to do is plug your BB into your computer, enter the BB password on the device, and it will show up as a drive letter on your computer. You can easily navigate through the various folders to easily put whatever data you'd like onto it.

Neat. will that work through the bluetooth? I'm not sure, but I don't THINK my bb came with a computer connect cable.
