My first step would be to stop turning the lapton and get the hair-dryer onto that sucker.

nope, just a new keyboard for $15. a bit inconvenient (the whole lap part of laptop sort of goes out the window when you have another keyboard connected) but hey, i still have a working computer and that's what matters. the computer itself was messed up for about half a day i think, but then it worked fine, aside from keyboard problems.
