Hey all-
I am looking to buy a cleaning/anti-static device for my records. A guy at work recommended something called the "Dust Bug" by Watts, but it appears to be out of production. It basically mounts to the base of the turntable, then it has two brushes that run in front of the stylus as the record plays, both cleaning the record and removing static. Do they make new versions of these things? Or am I destined to spend $40 on one off of ebay?

Thanks

This is the product my husband and I used to use pre-CD era. It's the best, in our humble opinion.

Gracias. Does this thing mount to the tonearm or base and clean the record as it plays, or do you have to do it manually?

You use it sort of like a brush to hand clean the records.

Yeah, I think that I'd rather have one that cleans as you play, like the Dust Bug. Thanks for the suggestions though. Guess I'll have to continue my search.

The little brush in the picture is to clean the bigger one. The bigger one is held and you put just a tiny bit of the solution onto it, and let the record roll under it as you gently roll the brush. Its really Really easy, and works perfectly.
