So my computer is acting oddly. Whenever I hit the left shift key the characters ]yt appear and it activates the caps lock as well as the command for F7. Additionally the tab also activates the F7 command and the right shift key seems to act as a backspace button. Anyone possibly know what could be wrong.

I still need it fixed because it does slow down my typing significantly and I need to be able to use this computer for school and such.

Did somebody rearrange your letters? Do you have some kind of macro program running or something that changes what the keystrokes do? Are you using the right keyboard layout?

This would kind of be weird using a USB keyboard on a laptop, no?

I've been doing that for almost a year now I think. Of course, all of the portability is lost, but my keyboard's not coming back to life, and the TechDesk people here had no other tips.
