I'm looking for a free program.

Thank you :)

I hate to do this, but.

I've used this for RARs before, but I don't think it handles zips:

A quick google search found this open source archive program:

7-Zip is a great choice. Unpacks tons of archive types and can be called on via a context (right-click) menu entry, meaning you'll mostly never need to actually "open" 7-Zip itself.

I don't blame stip for asking for a recommendation. That's what this forum is supposed to be for. Better to seek out legit options rather than go with whatever random crap shows up in a search.

Yeah go for 7-zip.

The only thing I have to add is how is it that in 2011 you're only looking for a file compressing utility now?

You guys are such bullies. Tech support should be where we can let our guard down and ask anything without being judged.

I just feel that you should leave your techier-than-thou attitude at the door before entering Technical Support.
