a friend told me there are standalone dvd players that can read Xvid/divx videos! i searched for info on the net and yeah.. that was true. i visited videohelp.com and found a list of dvd players that support this format. however, i dont know how to burn a disc contaning this file. maybe as a data cd??? and does it look great? like in the pc???
thanks in advance..

A friend of mine has one of these DVD players and they're definitly worth getting.
All he does is burn a data DVD/CD with the movie files on it. You just then open it with the DVD player and choose the file you want from a nice menu. He has every South Park episode on 4 DVD's in high quality DivX or Xvid format. It's a pretty good system.
