I have done many audio B&P's but never a DVD. I am very unfamiliar with DVD's and what are good bad exct. so I will tell you what I got and you can tell me if it is adequite or not to burn DVD's on when I do a B&P with people. The disks I have are Maxwell rewritable single sided up to 2X 4.7 GB, 2 Hrs SP mode. Please let me know if this is a good enough DVD-WR or if I need to Purchase something else.

i wouldnt recommend rewritable media for bootleg DVDs. They are slower to burn, 2x in your case, and alot more expensive than standard DVD-R or DVD+R media. Most traders except +R and -R and discs that allow burning speeds of 4x or higher...

For example: It'll take about 25 minutes to burn a full 4,5GB show on one of your discs. 4x standard media is burnable in alot less than 15 minutes. 8x media takes about 8 minutes if you have a burner that supports the speed.

So i'd recommend buy quality brand DVD-R or DVD+R on spindels cause it is alot cheaper than buying single discs in jewel or dvd cases. Verbatim, Maxell, TDK, Fuji, Sony should all be fine with 99% of the traders. Then buy some paper sleeves and send the discs from the spindel out in the sleeves...
