Check the hosts -file in %SystemRoot%\system32\drivers\etc\ (in Windows). Open it in Notepad and see if there's any lines with google or google.com etc. Some spyware etc. can make changes there. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hosts_%28file%29 If clearing your cache doesn't help, your connections might for some reason circulate through India.

Good morning, yall.
I'm not sure if this is relevant, but a while ago my gmail was hacked. The ip address was from India.....
I've had this laptop for 2 months...
Check the hosts file and scan for spyware & viruses. Do you still use the same gmail-account that was hacked? If you do, are logged in to your gmail while you use/type google in the url bar?

Then I would say that is most likely causing the problem. Maybe some language/regional settings etc. have been changed in your gmail-account to India etc. so it also prefers google india as your search engine. Check those first.
You could also try if it does that from some other computer. Log into your gmail-account and then type google into the address bar. See which google site it opens. OR you can try to logoff from gmail on your computer, and then type google etc.
