 Post subject: iPod won't display all artists

I just bought a new iPod classic. When I loaded everything on, I went to flip through my artists only to find that not all of them were there. It seems like any artist that is on a compilation album doesn't show up on my artist list on my iPod. Is there a way to fix this?

I don't think there's a way to change it.

I much prefer it the way it is however, so I've never really tried.
