I wish we could help every single country like Togo right now. It honestly breaks my heart.

Freedom from what? Like the way we are liberating Iraqi's from their oil supplies? America only takes action when it serves America's best interest. This is not a Democrat or Republican thing, it's an across the board foriegn policy. Remember how Clinton ignored the ethnic cleansing in Rowanda, but decided that it would be okay to stop the killing in Bosnia? Now we invade and 'liberate' Iraq. What about Darfur? What about those central African countries ruled by dicatators who routinely kill the opposition, rape their women, and terrorize the populace? Are we going to 'take care' of those problems to? I thought George W. was against 'nation building'. Wasn't that his stance in 2000?
