Do you have any article to go with this statement? This seems really vague.

If you watched fox news on election night, and remember what she was saying about the exit polls then you may understand.

Everyone who used the exit polls were wrong.

I think if I would have watched Fox News on election night I'd be six feet under from a self-inflicted eye-gouging/hanging incident. Actually, that'd probably happen any old night of the week.

Well it wasnt meant for people who were voting for Kerry.
All the polls were showing or saying Kerry was winning by a landslide, which was all a bunch of bullshit. So maybe she was getting bad info, but
if she was getting bad info, she probably still would be member of FOX news, she even still is, but you dont see her on anymore.
The news she was giving was to deter votes for Bush.
If Kerry is winning by a landslide then theres no reason for people to go out and vote for Bush.

That's not news, that's propaganda---that's FoxNews.

I didnt get that from FOX. I just been wondering why she hasnt been on fox, then I go back to the last time I saw her on FOX, it was election night.
I remember there was some trouble on election night, she was being her bitch self as usual but someone also called her a "know it all".
But then I did remember her and info that kerry was way ahead of Bush, but that wasnt the case at all. As we later found out. So, unless the polls were wrong, or she was getting bad info, then she was lying.
Anyway the bitch is gone, so good!

There are so many things patently wrong with your analysis that I don't know where to begin.

Let's just suffice it to say that every station was using the same bad poll numbers, the use of them didn't affect anyone's actual vote, and the last person who would get it for the polling errors is some silly twat at Fox news. She probably just sucked at her job, or had some crazy idea that news is supposed to come from reporters instead of TV executives.

I've heard the argument before that news casts shouldn't report on exit polls b/c it could cause people to not go vote if they think the outcome is already a foregone conclusion. I don't agree with that, but you're not calling THAT patently wrong, are you? Surely there's a valid argument for that.

It would be one thing if they were reporting preliminary results of exit polls hours before polls closed, but for the past few elections, the TV stations have not reported any polling data about a specific state until that state's polls are closed.

Besides if someone doesn't vote because they think that their candidate is or isn't going to win because of a report of a preliminary exit poll, then they're an idiot. Fuck 'em.

Now, that's a statement I can get behind!

Who cares? She was the most obnoxious faux-liberal ever.

This thread has failed beautifully in its attempt to rile up liberals.

Sorry, my bad. I forgot that liberals can't suck at their jobs too, or be tools of Fox News like Alan "fuck me harder" Colmes.

I never said she sucked at her job.
The only reason I started this thread was because I havent seen her on FOX since election night. Then started to think about it.
I dont know if she sucks, but I think she is one of those blind party supporters, that never sees anything wrong with her party.
I did call her a bitch though.
I really dont catch the Colmes guy to often, he's the guy thats on with Hannity, right? I saw him a few times, I think he's ok.
I think all news media should have an equal amount of liberals and conservatives.

I think all news media should just STFU and report the facts without adding an ideological slant to everything.

Yes, but what "facts" get reported? And in what order in the newscast? Do "facts" such as the mysterious CBS' News' reports of Bush in the Texas National Guard get reported? After all, at the time, they were considered "facts." Or how about NBC News' reports that the supposed head judge of the Saddam Hussein tribunal was killed (when he really wasn't) and where NBC showed the actual head of the tribunal (without a blurred or blacked-out video image)? That was also later recanted.

My point is, politics and ideology will unfortunately always play a part in news broadcasts.
