A new survey by the Partnership for a Drug Free America has found that 12 percent of today's parents have never talked to their kids about drugs and the risks they pose. That's twice as many as just six years ago. At the same time, parents are significantly underestimating their kids' use of and exposure to drugs in schools and communities.
My parents never talked to us about anything (not drugs, not sex, nothing). The only things they talked to us about are what were were and were not allowed to do, along with "grounding" us ever couple of weeks for disobeying.
With the RX Companies running the HMO systems in this nation, I hardly think we will EVER actually have a "drug free" America.
I think they should rename their organization to the....
"Partnership for a Illegal Drug Free America because the government actually wants you to take the legal ones so they can have their kick-back from the RX companies for passing legislation in their favor so they can charge $330 per pill for an anti-biotic, just ask cltaylor12's mother-in-law and don't forget to go to Starbucks."

You know... I don't think my parents have ever said to me "don't take drugs"
Maybe I wouldn't be such a junkie if they had, those rat bastards.

When you get to the point that you need to whore yourself out for drug money, can I be your pimp?
I reached that point some time ago, but I never had a pimp. You're hired.

Okay Elton, but only if you substitute the leopard print for lambs wool.

Is she actually paying $330 per pill or does she have a co-pay or coverage?

Luckily, for her, she has a co-pay, AND works for the hosptial with whom she has coverage, but she is aware of other patients would pay: their co-pay for 3 pills would be $250. for that particular drug. If she didn't work for the same people who cover her, her co-pay would also have been $250. under the basic plan.
The worst part is, there were actually 5 doses, two while she was in the hosptial and the three they sent her home with, and as of yesterday, she wasn't "better" yet.
She's pretty sick. I know, that was totally not on-topic, but since you asked
I'd like to see the Partnership for a Drug Free America to an investigation to determine if all the drugs for erectil disfunction are drugs that are totally 100% avoidable if men drank less caffeine, didn't smoke, ate proper diets (no junk food), etc. Because quite frankly, I am sick to DEATH of erectil dysfunction advertisements. Seriously sick of them.
Oh, and RedBull ads. I'm so sick of RedBull ads. I mean, why sell RedBull when they could just go back to letting people buy more than 2 boxes of decongestant at the store.
It's all such bullshit. Totally hypocritical. Don't do "drugs", just the ones we want to sell to you for which you will pay in addition to a 60%-120%+ mark up, pay some sales tax to your state as well, and watch the pot holes get bigger on your street and the kids in your neighborhood get less education, while the sales tax revenue gets spent on god only knows what, but certainly not on any service that will do you any good.
One more reason that not legalizing pot is a joke. I don't smoke it, but with all the drugs that are legal and all the synthetic equivelants, why WOULDN'T they wan't to legalize non-THC filled pot for over-the-counter sales, and collect the sales tax and other revenue from it just like they do from everthing else? Make it available by prescription only - why the hell not, everything else is.....

So she is fine then.
As for others, there are probably alternatives or generics available.

Not with that particular drug, there is no generic nor alternative at this time. They found Ecoli in her system, and she already has a suppressed immune system due to a past illness (myestinia gravis), so she's pretty messed up right now.

Can you PM me the medication she is using? I want to do some background checks just out of curiosity.
