I wouldn't doubt if he ends up sitting on death row in California forever in a sea of appeals.

We don't even do one a year here in CA, and there are like 600 before him. So unless he's got some immortality thing workin' for him, he'll die in jail a piece of shit.

Do they always separate death row inmates from the rest of the prison population? If so, I find it unfortunate that he's not as likely to be able to take his turn at playing wife.

There are only 2 people who know for sure if he really did it, him and his wife. We're just making a "best guess." Not a very good one considering none of us was even on the jury. Believe what you will from the media but there've been enough innocent people put to death to suite me.

is he a bastard that killed his wife? throw his ass in jail for life. I don't know what could be worse than that.

Dying a horrible painful death would be worse than that. But unfortunately, the tax payers of CA have to pay to keep this murderous bastard alive for the next 50 years.

Here's to bringing back hangings!

I don't know if he did it or not, he probably did. But I don't think the jury got enough evidence to prove that. I think he's going to do well on appeal.

I agree. I almost thought he was going to be acquited. The evidence wasn't overwhelming. I'm surprised that the death penalty was used here. It's also amazing how emotionally involved your average citizen reacted in this case. Especially women. I would mention the case and such anger towards him would come out of people. If he did it then he is an idiot, asshole, etc. But I just don't attach myself to the case because I'm not involved in it, I don't have family involved in it, and I don't know anyone involved in it. I wonder if the jury attached the same emotional appeal that the rest of the nation did and it clouded their logical decision. Of course I wasn't in the courtroom so they could have said things that we didn't hear.

I was watching some of the coverage on the news and they were asking the death row officer guy thingy when they will know if he gets lethal injection or the gas chamber. He said that after everything is finalized from the Supreme Court ruling which could be anywhere from 4-5 years they give Scott ten days to decide which one he wants. That must be a fun 10 days.

Look at this page, a 46 page guestbook. How many pregnant women are killed every year? And no one gives a fuck. I guess Laci was just pretty.

Also, did this pic? This is one reason why I hate the death penalty. Look how happy this fucker is. Whether guilty or not, we should NEVER be happy at the thought of more death.

Doesn't anyone ever look at it and say, "I'm really sorry that this horrible crime has to lead to more death, to more grieving family members, but we have no choice but to sentence this man to death." ??? NO, they say, "YEAH! Kill! Kill! Kill!"
