i don't know much about the royal family, nor do i particularly care, but i was speaking with someone recently who seemed to think that charles and william would both likely give up the throne and it would go to harry. who knows really

No, they won't offer the Crown to Harry. He's too much of a party boy and he's only 3rd in-line so why would they skip the next two when there's nothing (much) wrong with them.

No, Queen Elizabeth won't abdicate in favour of her son. Why would she? She's much respected and is a great figure-head for our country.

Unless Charles dies before his mother, he will be the next King.

And no she will not be the last monarch. Reason? The UK earns far too much money from tourists to let that happen. Now I don't much like the Royals, BUT they are a fucking goldmine...
