I say let this girl's dad bet the living Hell out of this m-f.

Child Molesters and those who kill children, in my opinion need to be exterminiated - they cross a line that I believe to be not only unforgiveable, but inhumane and socially bereft (if I even spelled or used that word correctly). They forfeit their rights to live in our society and should be eliminated.

Harsh? Yes.

They made their bed,.... pour gasoline on them and let them die in it.

f-ers.

I have no empathy for whatever plain of reality a person who crosses the line and harms a child is on. F them.

I empathise with this father and sympathise with the loss of his child.

while i feel deep sadness for the girl and her family, this is crossing the line whether you like it or not.

this is one of the advantages about living in america. people don't take the law into their own hands, unless deemed absolutely necessary. if this were somalia then the man would have his wish; but luckily he won't.

the suspect is in custody, let the system work.

I think what makes us a civil society is that despite the fact that people deserve to be gutted and have their organ cavity used as a toilet, we try to treat everyone the same and never dole out justice when we're angry or by the people who are most angry.

We may be "civilized", but we've still got instincts. If that was my daughter, I'd want to kill him in a slow, painful way.

I'd gladly spend 25 years in prison for it.

Obviously, though, the government should not let him.

what makes us civilized though is not always following our instincts

I swear, everytime I see a picture of one of these child molestors, I could have told the police beforehand that this dude would molest children. Without fail, these fucks look like child molestors. I know it sounds terrible, but my friends do this all the time. We will just see some shady guy in public, and comment, later of course, "Yep that guy wants to fuck little kids."

As for the father. In his current rage I can see how he would like a few minutes alone in a room with this guy. Hell I would like to beat the guy to death. But really, that would just give him one more horrible memory. This has to be the worst thing imaginable for a parent.

I would have arrested the father if I was going on looks. I hope your pedophile-dar is more accurate than mine.

I haven't seen the father yet, so he is off the hook for now.

They should lock them in a room and give dad an axe.

Besides that - i feel bad for the bad guy in this situation, too. For the most part these people are incredibly SICK, and they'll tell you that they can't control themselves. I don't just blame him - I blame the justice system that let him back out into the world. Of course it's his fault, but he shouldn't have been out. Period.

Child molesters should be a one-time only no change for parole life-time in prision offence. Case closed. No excuses. (Okay, we'll make an exception for asshole parents that press charges on a 19 year old boyfriend who sleeps with their 17 year old daughter, etc.)
Megan's law isn't enough. Knowing where they live doesn't mean we know what they're doing 24/7. It's too dangerous, and kids can't protect themselves.

My uncle is one of the Deputy's currently attached to the "suspect" and I am pretty frightened. Citrus County is quite equipped in terms of firearms, couple this with the rage many of the citizens posess and the likelihood of vigilante justice multiplies ten-fold. What concerns me is that this is an attractive option to most of these residents because no jury (in my county at least) would find this person guilty, even Sheriff Dawsy's respones was that the man was "a piece of trash".

i dont need to read any responses or differing opinions, because i completely agree with you... and i really like the gasoline idea, but i think that may be a bit too easy... let's hand 'em over to Mr. Blonde until we light the match

For the record, I'm not saying the Father would be justified in taking matters into his own hands. The rest of the residents there certainly have no business settling this case through private means.

I'm simply putting myself in the father's shoes. I don't have children, but if someone raped and murdered a loved one of mine, I'd have a different form of justice in mind. Not saying it's right. Not saying it should be carried out. I'm just saying you can't fault the father for thinking it.
