Flashers plague subway
http://nypost.com/news/regionalnews/45207.htm

Call them subterranean sleazebags.
About once every two days, perverts expose themselves in the New York City subway system, according to police records.

Since Jan. 1, police have received 45 complaints of public lewdness in the city's subway system.

There have also been 13 arrests for public lewdness, or the exposure of private parts, police said.

Police could not provide comparative data from past years. They did say that many incidents of public lewdness go unreported.

But the numbers are in sync with complaints The Post received from red-faced straphangers, who have seen plenty of skin in the subways.

"I was waiting for the G train and a man, probably about 50, across the tracks was fondling his, well, John Thomas," said Kirsten Faulder. "Fairly appalling if you ask me — got to love New York."

Rishma Lucknauth had a similar experience on the N train.

"When it stopped at Times Square a large man came to the corner of the door, still standing outside, stared directly at me and opened up his jacket to reveal a full erection," Lucknauth said.

"I let out a loud gasp and instantly everyone in the train turned to me as if I was crazy — completely missing the mad flasher at the door. I was brought to tears, as this was my first experience with a flasher."

The Post even received a complaint about an MTA employee — a man identifying himself as Bob Tootski said he saw a conductor masturbating while whistling "Don't Worry, Be Happy."
According to the MTA, all complaints of public lewdness are forwarded directly to the NYPD.

Two veteran cops, speaking on the condition of anonymity, said the crimes have spiked in recent years but are still grossly underreported.

"It's more of a transit thing," said a Greenwich Village officer. "It doesn't happen on the street that much. The subways are more of an anonymous environment. They can do it where it's crowded and they can leave without being identified."

This isn't exactly the kind of report you want out there when trying to promote public transportation. :P

How come women never feel the need to run around exposing themselves to strangers?

NICE!

That is a very erotic song.

I was on the subway in New York once in the middle of the day. A guy, probably in his 20's or 30's at the oldest, got on wearing a t-shirt and sweatpants. He looked like was coming or going from the gym. But the guy was sporting a full hard-on in his sweatpants and it would have been completely obvious to anyone who happened to glance below his waist. It was just like Ron Burgundy, or Gene Wilder in See No Evil, Hear No Evil, except in sweats.

I wonder whether that guy was conducting some sort of psych experiment or something to see how people on the NYC subway would react to a young, good-looking man with a visible erection. Either that or he was a real weirdo.

Are you sure it wasn't this guy?
