During a news program a Bush campagne in Florida was attended and the people there were asked about what they think of Europe, and from about 10 people i didnt hear one thing that didnt make my skin crawl. In general they're opinion is that Europe is a secular 'state' that avoids their responsibility towarths the world, the latter because the criticism about the war on terrorism.
Is this shared by the republicans on this board?
I am amazed, German and Dutch troops secured Afghanistan for quite a while after 9/11, im sure it was at least a year and what about the currently stationed Polish, British and Dutch troops in Iraq? That have been there for some time now.. And till a while ago the Spanish troops? Or the political support? Afghanistan still has soldiers from some European countries. I'd say its pretty ignorant and unrespectfull to many families making these sacrifices. About the being secular, in the European Union a very large portion is of the Christian parties, Europe is the nursery of Christian faith and still Christian believes are the basis of many many laws here, written and unwritten.
