Andy Card (White Huose Chief of Staff) was on CNN today and pretty much anytime he was asked a question about the war in Iraq, the missing weapons or bin laden he said asking these things "denigrates the troops"
I guess this is the new version of if you are against the war you are against the troops? How does asking a fucking question concerning the admionistration reflect on the troops and denigrate them??
Let's see, which denigrates the troops more?
"But you say a handful of missing explosives. Some of those explosives, one pound of that sophisticated explosive could bring down an airliner like PanAm 103. The IAEA was deeply concerned about..." -Wolf Blitzer
or
"The actual responsibility for it really would be for the troops that were there. Did they search carefully enough? Didn't they search carefully enough?" -Rudolph Guiliani
btw, Andy Card also said
"even if we were to get Osama bin Laden tomorrow, let's not kid ourselves -- the war against terror would not be over, and the president knows that. He understands the nature of this war on terror."
i guess this is why they didn't follow through on Bush's decleration "bin Laden: dead or alive!!!!!!"
