So, the Redskins lost at home yesterday, so the incumbent party is supposed to lose. However, Laura's cookies beat Teresa's cookies, so Laura's husband is supposed to win.

Well, which stupid tradition dies tomorrow?

mmmm. well, the Red Sox won the World Series and they went through the Yanks to do it.

We live in a different world. Who knows? Hell, Badnarik or Nader could win if the Red Sox can do it.

I try to stay away from cookies. And as for the "sports' angle remember for many many years it was said that no "domed-team" had ever won the super bowl until the St. Louis team ended that "ever"
I believe Ohio will be the lasting trend. No (R) has "ever" won the White House w/o Ohio. It should be fun.

Who knows... but I'd say the cookies tradition dies tomorrow. All we do know is that the tradition of electing blue-blooded politicians with membership in elite secret societies like Skull and Bones won't be ending.

oh ye of little faith.......

If the Red Sox can win so can a 3rd party candidate.

Yeah I know, it's damn near impossible but stranger things have happened.

We get to choose between a turd sandwich and a giant douche

Yes, but that domed thing was based in a sports reality of physics. The Redskins losing is based in magic.

And I agree, if Bush loses Ohio, he loses the election.

If Kerry wins do we each get a batch of toll house cookies?
