I'm reading the Relix interview with Eddie

http://www.relix.com/eddievedder/

He referred to the vietnam war as a "clusterfuck". I dont know if he has his political slang mixed up but I thought that was a term James Kunstler invented to describe disgusting urban sprawl (i'm talking about you, Atlanta!) in his book City in Mind. http://search.barnesandnoble.com/bookse ... 0743227230

but maybe this is just a catchall kind of term?

discuss...

The term clusterfuck has been around a lot longer than January of 2003.

hmmm... that makes sense I guess.
I just like that word because I read it in a real book so I can quote it in papers.
I like being able to write 'fuck' in an academic paper!
