Barbara has a real handle on the situation.

"Almost everyone I’ve talked to says we're going to move to Houston," Barbara Bush told NPR.

"What I’m hearing is they all want to stay in Texas. Everyone is so overwhelmed by the hospitality.

"And so many of the people in the arena here, you know, were underprivileged anyway, so this --this is working very well for them."

this is, uh, a head scratcher.

either she's saying "so many of these people came from under-privileged areas, that moving to texas, the land of opportunity, will certainly help them better their lives" or "so many of these people came from shit and squalor that living in an area is, like, eight hundred times better."

either way, i don't think it came out right.

I think she is just old. Old people are kooky.
