NAPA, Calif. -- No more screaming for ice cream -- it may soon have to be a whisper. Officials in Napa want ice cream trucks to turn down the volume.
Members of the Napa City Council have asked the city manager to draft new regulations that would require ice cream vendors to quiet the loudspeakers on the their trucks. The rules may also ban music while the trucks are stopped.
