I remember reading something from him a couple weeks back...

To the effect that democrats dont have the fight in them the republicans do and they get frustrated and give up....

He was right. Okay Dems, People from other countries... ive seen so many "im crying" or "im apathetic now" or "i give up" etc posts already... and its not even officially a loss.

This is why you lose the House, The Senate, The White House, The Governorships...

This loss should not be a "i give up." it should be a

"Well fuck, we better start working on getting some seats back next year".

As much as I hate to admit that Moore is right about ANYTHING, I agree. I admire Moore exercising his right to free speech, but that guy is a jackass. Not only do the dirty democrats not have any fight, they are also the worst losers ever. I think I stand to comment this way, since I did vote for Kerry, even though I am a Republican, but geez, give it up when you lose. The LAST thing this country needs is another 2000. Someone said it right in another thread, the fat lady hasn't sung yet, but she sure as hell is warming up back stage. Please Kerry CONCEDE! TODAY! Don't wait for the 11 days, 11 mins, 11 secs. CONCEDE! We need to move forward. There isn't a lot some of you crazy hippies can say about that.

Yeah, allllll that, or its because people have increasingly identified with the GOP since the 1950s and we're finally starting to see the electoral effects.

Agreed, but you can't make chicken salad out of chicken shit. If it's mathematically impossible, which anyone with half a brain can realize, then PLEASE don't drag us through some horrible legal soap opera.

I will second that with a caveot:

"Well fuck, we better start working on getting some seats back next year buy combing college campuses nationwide to find potential constituants who have ideas and values and creativity and have some sence of reality so that they can serve the greater good of the nation long term, from the earliest ages possible, rather than having to scrape the dregs of egomaniac barrels for despirate old white rich guys who have so much that all they actually crave is power...."

Democrats always make a lot of promises but they never follow through on them. That is their biggest downfall.

your kidding right. When was the last time you saw republicans sitting on a main street and blocking traffic, taking off they're clothes and protesting nude.
You make yourselves look like fools, that even rednecks and hillbillies wouldnt want to be democrats.

Caring about the direction your country is headed in is melodramatic? Sorry for having some passion.

Okay, caring about your country isn't necessarily "I'm moving to Canada." I'm talking about the fact that many are scared of what will happen with government held hostage by the Republicans. I'm talking about the people who are worried what will happens to women's right. THAT'S what "caring about the direction" meant.

But sadly I can no longer respect your country

I can't believe SO many war-loving redneck morons would actually be stupid enough to vote this moron in again

I didn't think that even 1% of America would be insane enough to vote Bush

I'm a Canadian living in America... and I've never wanted to move back this bad before

Lots of brainwashed and braindead people here.

We've become too arrogant and belligerent and self serving. History shows us that we are on an inevitable course to self destruction

I have never been more scared for the fate of this country than I am now

this country will get what it deserves and it's gonna be scary as hell

I wish Bush was 1/100th the man Castro is.

and a thread entitled "deeply saddened"

Those are posts i found in less than 5 minutes of searching. in like 4 threads. So yeah, there is a lot of melodrama here.

Very, very good point.

Oh wait. I misread your whole post. I think some of that is melodramatic, some of it is just down-right anger and frustration.
