Awesome. I haven't watched real time ina long time, it just got to be the same bashing crap every week (and Dennis Miller is not funny anymore as a guest). Vonnegut owns, so maybe I'll catch this one. Thanks for the post.

He was funny on Real Time, though he seemed slightly senile. Something to the effect of "The human race is a disease upon the Earth. It should make like syphilis with a conscience and kill itself."

Saw him on Real Time with Bill Maher. So far I only read some essays by Vonnegut, but I plan on picking up Slaughterhouse 5 or Breakfast of Champions (or his new book Man without a country) sooner or later. I like what I saw on Real Time even though I have to second that he looked a bit senile.
