that people can be so bitter over an election. CW hit it on the head with his other post, but im going to expand it a bit more.

The popular vote looks like its going to go to W, and people are pissed off that those who voted for W dont think they way they would like them to. This is the most insane presumption i have yet to see on this board, and that includes the mensa member who said he hopes bin laden has another attack in the works.

Why on earth would you want everyone to agree on everything (your point of view). Do you really have any clue how boring and insanely repetitive that society would be? to have people who dont agree on a particular subject /ideaolgy is really the only way to change. for the pro lifers out there who cant wait for roe-wade to be overturned and that they think abortion will send you straight to hell, you do relise that if this happens, more and more people will die due to "back alley" abortions?

to those that think its great that same sex marriages should be banned and the homosexuals are going to burn in hell, you do realise these people are just like you who want to express their love for the person they are with, and arent asking for anything different that you benefit from having a husband/wife?

people who are so pissed about this election and its results are the first ones to bitch and moan about their freedom of speech being taken away and yet are the first ones to deny the people who have spoken for president bush.

i atleast pray that you people see the huge double standard/hipocracy youre endorsing.

I agree. I simply have a problem with those leftists who claim to be tollerant who rip on conservatives(mainly from the south). That there is some rule somewhere that just because you have a southern accent, you are a dumbass. ( I am from Maryland, so don't think I am some hillbilly, oh wait, now I am not being tollerant.)

Yes the people have spoken, and I finally have proof that Americans are the dumbest country in the world.

How can Americans be a country?

Before you accuse people of being retarded, you'd best check your syntax.

I made a post on this back on RM1, basically saying that the new left has become the new right, they are quick to label and narrowminded but try and justify this by putting the emphasis on the mistakes of others, its petty and fucking childish.

Right now you are just seeing a backlash in several respects, Kerry voters are upset because their candidate didnt win. I think its amazing the support Bush has, I would never have thought hed win the popular vote. This has to emphasize the lack of a strong democratic candidate, because this president has very little in the way of substantive issues to rely on. Bush won because more people like him, or believe him, deal with it. None of your lives are going to change.

Thats a moot point, Kerry and Bush would both become more involved in Iraq. People do not like war, but apparently 51% of Americans think we should do something more than just leave.
