Hello,
It took me a long time to make my decision on who to vote for. I wouldn't even say that I voted for Kerry, but I voted against Bush. Actually, the Bush administration.
I turned into a one issue voter. That issue was the war in Iraq.
Here is how I looked at it.
George Bush told the US and the world that Iraq had stock piles of WMD and that they could pass them to terrorists to use agains the US.
The US invaded Iraq, a nation that never attacked or threatened to attack the US. It turned out that Iraq didn't have any stock piles of WMD. You can argue all day that the CIA and other intelligence agencies goofed, but it was Bush's decision ultimately to invade Iraq.
How can you tell yourself that somebody who makes a huge mistake and gets 1000 + of his employees (soldiers) killed deserves to keep his job? It is beyond my comprehension as to how anybody can overlook that.
You want to talk about morals etc. particularly pro life. What about respect for humans that are outside a woman's body? Are their lives not as worthy?
I'm totally non partisan and believe in people, not parties.
I just wanted to see if anybody else agrees with this way of thinking.
