Do you think we're in the end times? elaborate on why or why not.
Nah. If you look at human history, things were much worse 40 years ago, and 25 years before that even worse. We may not make it another 1000 years, but we are not dying tomorrow either. If anything technology will be our downfall. Which is kind of funny, because it will probably be religious nuts using science. Kind of ironic, don't you think!

I think it would be somewhat egocentric to believe that in all the history of the world, I ended up at the end of it all. What disturbs me I guess is that we do possess the power to destroy the world, or humankind at least, so I'm not counting anything out.

I'm beginning to lean towards a massive plague.
The sad thing is our leaders just ignore it, and do nothing to prevent it. Nobody cares about the future.

Nah. The one that's gonna get us won't be able to be stopped or prevented. So don't sweat it. You'll either die, or you'll be extremely rich afterwards.
