There, I labeled an entire group of people without considering the fact that they all have different backgrounds, cultures, etc. Yes, people who stereotype are idiots. They are culturally ignorant twits who don't deserve to breathe another breath of our precious air. If I had $50 every time someone here labeled an entire group of people, I'd be a millionaire. Now, once and for all, how about we knock it off? Can we?

I know those that are regulars in this forum are probably not guilty of this... Maybe it would be nice if there was a forum rule against it... BIG GOVERNMENT, YEAH!!!

I'm talking about the "people who don't feel the same way as I do are idiots" mentality.

Yes, there is irony embedded in its presentation as a sort-of joke.

What are your thoughts on gay people? Didn't you express concern for a child's psychological well being if they were raised by two gay parents? Isn't that stereotyping?
You just don't like the opinions being expressed because they challenge some believe system you have all set up for yourself. Really you're no different from anyone else, and you are mistaking STEREOTYPE for OPINION.

Of course that just MY opinion, which you will more than likely ignore.

No, not at all, because it has nothing to do with homosexuality, it is more about the fact that they will be lacking either a mother or a father. Believing that has an effect on a child is not stereotyping one bit.

Saying an entire group of people is stupid for what they believe is clearly different than saying you disagree with what they believe for one reason or another. I am not saying that there is anything wrong with anyone's opinion, nor am I even singling out any particular opinion. I am simply saying that expressing an opinion or disagreeing with somebody should be completely divorced from the intelligence of that person. Try to argue it if you wish, but "Republicans are stupid" or "Democrats are stupid" is not your opinion, but a stereotype. It doesn't affect your argument one bit.

I'll remember this the next time I read one of your posts about gays, abortion, creationism, the bible, Bush, or whatever else you decide to comment on, and then try my very best to keep my negative comments directly strictly at you, because you don't want me "stereotyping".

You're still no different from anyone else here, justify whatever you like, to me this is all opinion. Nothing more or less.
