I just thought I would ask for some input here on the way I post in this forum. The reason I ask is because I actually post two different ways, and they are completely independent of one another.
The first, and most common, type of post from me is a serious attempt at a well thought out argument or question. I try to set all my prejudices aside, absorb the entire issue from a neutral point of view, and analyze it as logically and thoughtfully as I can. These posts are usually a little bit longer, and take a lot more effort on my part. I feel these are the posts that might actually contribute to the debate.
The other kind of post I make is a purely opinionated post. I am an extremely opinionated person, and it is not always possible for me to read an entire thread and formulate an appropriate response. Or sometimes I am just not in the mood. This results in a usually harsh, often offensive, and mostly politically incorrect post. These posts are fun and do a good job of demonstrating my actual feelings towards the matter, and maybe how things would be in my own perfect world. They usually do not, however, contribute anything to the discussion, and they are often likely to upset at least one person.
Anyway, the reason I am making this post, is because I am bored and waiting for dinner. Seriously though, I felt like it was an important thing to outline because some people may be confused by the way I post sometimes. It is important to keep in mind that any one of my posts could be either of the preceding types. I also think that there is a time and place for each kind, and I would actually encourage everybody to try out each, in time. I don't think it is healthy or productive to one's mind or moral growth to be either completely analytical or completely biased and emotional 100% of the time.

How did you know? Elaborate.
Well, in addition to confirming it the way that B shows, I saw myself in what you wrote.
The first year I was on RM, I probably averaged the longest posts on the board. I didn't post unless I had a long essay to say. The more I hung around and became comfortable, the more I felt I could speak my mind, or my heart as the case may be, and I found myself posting shorter and emotionally charged posts more often.
BTW, I've noticed the same pattern from a couple other Aquarians as well, most notably Mr. B.

It creeps me out a little that my behavior is that closely monitored.

This has become a big Aquarian orgy.

Hmmm. I don't pay any attention to horoscope stuff, but I'm pretty sure I've never heard something indicating the tendency to think things out or aything of that nature with Aquarius. On the very few occasions I have happened across my horoscope of the day, it seems to make absolutely no sense and have absolutely nothing to do with me.

I realize that I have COMPLETELY derailed this thread, but you must understand that there is a HUGE difference between astrology, and DIVINATION, which in my opinion, is always bullshit.

I didn't read the page you linked, PD, but I clicked on the Aquarius link at the top. What does it mean "The [planet] in Aquarius"? Does every Aquarius have his or her own planet, or what?

She would agree.
Sorry, but at least you admitted it was already derailed.
Been reading Prisoner of Azkaban?
