Look, I've talked with e/f for a long time now and I know he doesn't hate americans. That is just absurd. I know he's a good guy and would never wish harm on ANY innocent person no matter what country they are from. Just like way before 9/11 I knew we'd get hit one day for our government's actions and policies but everyone thought that was crazy.
