i was just reading an article comparing torture the U.S. has comitted and what has been done to U.S. marines in iraq, and for that matter, many civilians.

it made the point that making alleged terrorists withstanding torture naked, while korans burn in their sight, is nothing compared to what the two marines went through.

and before i could go any further, the first thing that popped into my mind was 'we live in a sick fucking world.'

the fact that ANY of this goes on...
