due to one of the most atrocious terrorist attacks in recent memory a few days ago, and no one on this forum gives a damn.

Well played, RM, you're almost as good as Fox News.

Hey, if it was 184 you would have gotten a reaction, on this board 183 doesn't cut it.

it's 200 dead, and fox news treated it just as big, if not bigger than cnn and msnbc.

I don't get it. Why would terrorists attack India? They aren't fighting in Iraq or Afghanistan.

You might be right. Terror is their old favorite. I just flicked through the channels yesterday and saw BBC World switch between the Israel/Lebabon thing and Mumbai, while Fox News had that blonde whorebag from the morning show talk about some frivolous shit, and thought to myself: typical.

Overall, I must say even BBC World have not covered this anywhere near the level they covered Madrid and London.

It's becuase it happened in the third world, had the same thing happened in a first world country it would have gotten the coverage it deserves.

i know we kept it top of the website for at least 24 hours. cnn did close to that. msnbc lost it by nightfall on the east coast and went back to israel, which at that time was pathetic.

Terrorism in India is the result of the India/Pakistani conflict over the Kashmir region, or at least that's how its typically been.

No need to be a dick. You've been posting here and in Other Bands since this happened, and it didn't hit your radar either until now.

Let me try.....

Enron lost a lot of money in India on the Dabhol. Cheney and his cronies were hit by it. He tried to collect on the debt back in 2002, but India wouldn't budge.... wait, that's not it.

Maybe...

The Bush world domination force was upset with India for working with Iran to import oil. Indias growth means big money for the Iranian government headed by their noble completely fairly elected leader. They needed a reason to stir up irrational hate against peacful Muslims, so they bombed the train.

Or maybe...

Cheney had designed a deal to export dual use nuclear tech to India. It was getting mixed reviews in India because of it's relationship to nuclear weapons. The Bush imperialists need India on their side because of the shaky state of Pakistan and relations with China. In order to gain domestic support for the deal, the CIA, which was once run by Bush senior and repeated visisted by Cheney and Rumsfield, engineered the train attack to make it look like Islmaic terrorists who had committed simliar attacks in the past.

I think I've come up with the plot for "Loose Change 3 - Nahasapeemahaliburton"

Maybe it was Americans trying to kill the fuckers who took their jobs.

Actually I was waiting to see if someone else would post it. I've been following the story keenly since it happened.

And please spare me the "how do you know everyone else wasn't doing the same" bullshit. I have hardly ever been the person to start threads on breaking news.

People don't like to be sermonized, I get it. Doesn't make my obervation any less probative-- when shit happens in third world countries, people in the West tend to care less. The fact that this topic took 2-3 days to reach RM isn't conclusive of anything, but it is another piece of evidence that tends to support that conclusion.

I don't know that that's wrong, but it doesn't give you the right to assume you know what the rest of us have been (or not been) thinking about.

Oh, come on. The Bush administration supports globalization and they are obviously guilty.

Facts have no place in N&D.
