The judge gets to decide next year....but the jury has made its decision. What's really sick are all the people outside the courtroom, talking on their phones waving to the cameras while someone is waiting to be sentenced to death.

This is the first post I've ever made in a Petterson thread. The only thing I know that made me think he was guilty from the few blurbs I heard was he had 10,000 on him, and dyed his hair, after getting a new car and trading in his wife's car, while the search for her was still taking place. Just sounded guilty, if all this info I recall is correct.

Who gives a shit about this idiot. There's hundreds of wives killed every year by their husbands. Why did the media latch on to this case? Yup, pretty white girl and something horrible happened to her. Fucking ridiculous how these types of cases dull our senses while real shit happens all over the world. Gah.
There is an interesting debate though, the ongoing one over the unborn child factoring in to the conviction/sentencing.

Who are we to decide who lives or dies
and really life in prison is so much worse and actually saves taxpayers money vs. death penalty because of all the appeals and court fees its a proven fact.....

What are all the crazy fuckers that stand outside the courtroom and cheer going to do now? I don't see how these assholes can get so wrapped up in a trial that doesn't involve you or your family and wish death upon a person when you weren't in the courtroom or hear all the testimony. I fucking hate people.
