Cool
I'm reading Zinn's American History of the 20th century or something or rather for a class right now...I've also read You Can't Be Neutral On a Moving Train.

very cool. thanks, cono. i do live in the area and may have to check it out.
I saw Howard Zinn speak at Rutgers Univ not long ago, and I actually ended up sitting right behind him for a while as the organizers of the event finished setting up the stage, and we spoke for a while. He's incredibly down to earth and cool. I told him that Pearl JAm has a song that's pretty much about him, and he told me that he considers Eddie a good friend. The whole conversation felt surreal! And of course, his talk kicked ass. He's brilliant.
